 Andrew J. E. Bell, Ph.D. Office: WRI B -315 Website: Andrew J. E. Bell, Ph.D. Andrew Bell received his degrees in Classics from Oxford and Stanford. He is the author of Spectacular Power in the Greek and Roman City (Oxford University Press 2004; paperback edition 2006). He teaches HIST 100 Citizens and Slaves (which meets the US and Nevada Constitutions requirements) and HIST 105 (European Civilization to 1648); at the upper-division level, he teaches Greek Civilization, Roman Civilization, Great Personalities, and topics courses on ancient religion and social status.
