Now Available
The Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) created the Las
Vegas Oral History project to address the scarcity of historical
research on women in the state. The project's oral historians
have interviewed more than 50 Nevada women whose lives and work

Nevada Test Site Oral History Project
The Nevada Test Site Oral History Project documents, preserves and disseminates the remembered past of persons affiliated with and impacted by Cold War nuclear testing from 1951 through 1992. The diversity of project participants includes: national laboratory scientists and engineers; miners, electricians, and labor trades; cabinet-level officials, military officers and contractor executives; atomic veterans, support personnel and administrative staff. Integral to the project are Native American tribal leaders, radiation survivors, families and communities living downwind of the site, and peace groups. Learn
